MINOR SKIN INJURIES: cuts, scrapes and irritated skin. Insect bites: bee stings, chiggers and mosquitoes (apply immediately). Mouth sores: chapped lips, cold sores, canker sores and fever blisters. Drawing salve: apply to infected area and cover with a bandage.

DIRECTIONS: Apply to the affected area not more than 3 to 4 times daily. Do not use on children under 2 years of age.
WARNING: Avoid contact with eyes. If condition worsens or symptoms persist for more than 7 days, discontinue use and consult a doctor.

Grampa’s Salve is our ‘Go To’ remedy. It is awesome for mosquito bites, cuts, bruises, scrapes, any skin irritation you can think of. 3 weeks ago I cut myself on some chicken wire. It was like a razor blade, it cut deep and bled a lot, and it was on my index finger. I always have my hands in the dish water and I am always washing my hands, so healing this cut was going to take a while. I thought I would just put a bandaid on it and let it be. After 2 days of it continuing to open and bleed, I went for my Grampa’s Salve. I applied it at night with a bandaid so that it would have a chance to stay on. When I checked it in the morning the cut had sealed itself. After 2 nights of Grampa’s Salve it literally looked like it had been stitched up. I no longer needed a bandaid, pain was also gone. A few more days went by and you could not even tell I had been cut, much less so deeply. I LOVE this product.

I also applied it to my sister’s Severely chapped, bleeding, hands. With in 24 hours there was a huge difference in the chapped skin. They were healing up nicely. She came back for more a few months later when she had the same thing going on. I have used Grampa’s Salve on chapped lips too.

My kids run for the Salve if the get a bug bite. My husband uses it regularly on any number of cuts and scrapes as well.

I also just purchased some Grampa’s Salve for my Chickens. Just in case one of them gets pecked at and needs a quick healing time.
